Whoever You Are, You Are Welcome Here

At West Concord Union Church, we come together from the neighborhood around the church and from surrounding towns; as members who were born into this congregation and as new visitors and friends; as people of deep faith and those who are just beginning to explore the Christian tradition. We are a lively and informal congregation small enough to know each other well.

Following the example of Jesus, we strive to offer a warm welcome to everyone. We are an “Open and Affirming” church, fully including people of all sexual orientations. Our members include singles, couples, families, and people with developmental and physical disabilities. We are a fully accessible church with an elevator that serves all levels of our building. WCUC has a deep history in West Concord, founded in 1891 as a “union” church for neighborhood Protestants of every denomination. We are now members of the United Church of Christ, which is known for its dedication to social issues and the way it honors each individual’s spiritual discernment.
