Youth Group

Youth in our congregation are treasured. We know our young people well and provide many opportunities for leadership and the expression of individual gifts. Many of our youth are particularly interested in music and performance, and add to our worship services by offering their talents.

On Sunday mornings, youth alternate between attending worship and meeting downstairs to plan puppet performances and other events. Following worship, everyone ages 8-18 is welcome to rehearse with the Youth Choir.

Chris Porth partners with lay leaders to provide actives for our Youth Group (grades 6-12) including hikes, trips, spaghetti suppers, talent shows, and overnights. Youth are also encouraged to participate in mission trips. The pastor teaches confirmation classes and offers other opportunities for youth.
