Worship is at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday. Communion is served the first Sunday of the month.

Come… and be inspired!
Worship on Sunday mornings is the heart of our time together. Here we gather as the people of God—to worship, to pray, to inspire and be inspired, to comfort and be comforted, to question, to learn, and to experience joy. You are invited to join us any Sunday morning.

We also have other types of worship:

Sunday Fellowship

Twice a month, our Sunday Fellowship group meets to worship in the downstairs social hall on Sunday afternoons at 4 p.m. This service is geared toward our members with developmental disabilities— many of whom live in the neighborhood —and includes music and interactive activities. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come enjoy this friendly (and always lively) time together!

Vespers
During the program year (September-June) we offer a vespers service, usually on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. This is a meditative experience with music, prayers, and silence. We gather in a small group in the chancel, toward the back of the sanctuary. You are very welcome to join us.

What to expect on Sunday morning
Our main entrances (elevator and stairs) are on the Pine Street side of the building. There you will find members of the congregation who will greet you and answer any questions you may have.

If you bring young children with you, they are welcome to pick up a picture book or coloring activity in the hallway or a “quiet bag” of toys from the hooks just inside the sanctuary door.

When the service begins, follow along in the bulletin as we sit and stand, speak and sing together. During the “passing of the peace” we greet one another, saying “Peace be with you!” or “Good morning.” On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate communion. You are welcome to participate or not, as you feel comfortable. On most Sundays, Sunday School is available downstairs following the children’s time in our service. On communion Sundays, children stay for the entire service.
